How do I make a cement planter or flower pot?

I saw a post recently where a lady made cement planters and flower pots.

  • there is concrete mix molds you can get that are plastic, i turned 2 of them into a giant egg, but if you only did half then it would be a planter. - here is the video on bow to make and use the makers mix with the molds - https://youtu.be/GI_OfonIUbc

    Hi Janice. I'm Cindy. You could make a cement planter using a towel, cement mix, 2 buckets, and saran wrap. First turn a large bucket upside down. Put plastic wrap on the bottom of the bucket. Then mix the cement in a different bucket according to the directions on the bag. Submerge the towel in the cement. Make sure the entire towel has concrete on it. Take it out of the cement and lay it on the bucket with saran wrap. Move it around until you have the shape you want. Allow to dry completely. 48 hours if possible. Lift the towel off of the bucket. Remove the plastic wrap. Enjoy your new pot. Good luck with this project.
