How to re-stain a leather recliner?

I have a two year old recliner and all the stain is wearing off. How do I get it back to its beautiful chocolate brown color?

You will need to buy 3 things. Murphy's oil soap, chocolate brown leather stain and leather sealer. Wash the whole chair with Murphy's oil soap. This will make sure the color will blend. Wait one day. Wear gloves and use a dauber to spread the stain. Wait one day to dry. Seal the whole chair to prevent stain loss. You should clean it monthly and reseal every 6 months to maintain the color.

Thank you so much. The chair is good condition for the exception of this stain problem. Do you know where to get leather stain and sealer.

I would reupholster the chair without going trough the leather procedure.

Mona Blake has the best answer, however, you could also try liquid shoe polish, wash down chair same as Mona described, then dab on the shoe polish, let soak in then buff up. This is easy to up keep by applying the polish every 6 months or when you feel it needs it. Good luck
