How can I make flat doors look like the old style 5 panel doors??

I am changing hinged doors on master bath and walk in closet to barn doors. I have flat panel doors, but I would like them to look like the old fashioned 5 horizontal panel doors. I would like them to look like the panels are recessed. Any ideas?
Divide the door appropriately and then draw in the "bevels" on the "inset" sections. This will not really look like a paneled door but if the space is poorly lighted it might pass.

Hi there, You could use Mouldings to form the panels on the doors. Not quite the same ,but the same effect!
You can use trim and glue it on the doors or if you are artistically inclined draw your rectangles on and paint with artists acrylic paint. Just use a photo of what you want and paint what you see.
Purchase appropriate sized picture frames (at the Dollar Store?) attach them to the door, spaced evenly. Paint the entire door!
