So get your lumber top cut to specs, and tow pieces of 1x3" lumber to add to the underside of the platform top, and buy 4 casters to screw into the 1x3" on each side. If you don't want your platform to roll as some point, I would make sure at least one or two of the casters has a lock you press down on with your foot to secure it.

When you add your 1x3s to the base of your platform,, I would insect them back from the edge.

The top could be made from a sheet of plywood cut down, or if you want something nicer, get 2 pieces of 18"x 2" lumber your 6', Then join them together using biscuits and wood glue.

You will need to start with frame, you can use 2x4's and make you 1 1/2 foot by 6 foot from

Then secure you lumber to that you can again use 1 x 8's which will be 3/4 x 7 1/4

When you are finished turn it over and secure your casters

    Hope that helps

Make sure you get good castors, the all plastic ones don't hold up at all. I had some large potted plants on some, even though they were much lighter than the stands were rated for, the first time I tried to move them they fell apart. We made new ones and got castors that had the metal you attached to the wood and they have no problem at all, even on unlevel surfaces. You get what you pay for, so go for the good ones. The suggestion about the castors with the locks is good, I would go with one on each end to prevent it from moving.
