I used to have a large rack that hung from behind the shower head , but my husband bought a new fancy showerhead that didn't allow for that rack th hang there anymore. Hmm... What to do now ??? I bought a nice metal over the toilet rack. I found large rectangular plastic container, probably to hold a dozen cupcakes ( but with a flat bottom ) i put a container on each shelf , now we each have a place to hold our toiletries.
This may sound silly but if you have one of those shower organizers hanging around your shower head, put a command hook on the opposite side of the shower from the head and hang it there. It's odd but it gives more area.
I have seen the rod with clips like Brittany posted as well as using small baskets hanging from the rod.
