How: What kind of paint can you use on a steel door?

Hi. The trick is in the primer. Sand your door well to give both the primer and your new paint something to grip on to. Then use a primer that will adhere to metal and can be used with either oil/alkyd or latex. Then the choice is yours. You can either use an oil based paint or a latex. Happy DIY'ing!
