Diane...Your house number can be put on lots of things...mailboxes, posts, rocks, bricks, wood. Use stencil letters and paint.
What material did you have in mind (wood, sheet metal, marbles, etc.) ?
Where do you want to place these numbers (on brick, on vinyl, on wood, in your yard, on a lamppost, etc.) ?
Got ours from the county. They are made out of the same stuff road signs are so they reflect at night for emergency vehicles to see

Hi Diane. I'm Cindy. Your house number should be visible from the street. Take a walk out to the street to be sure they can be seen. If you want them visible at night, put a light on them or use glow-in-the-dark paint. Good luck and be safe.
