Are you looking for under cabinet lighting? If you are I've seen people use the tubed lights that just attach under the cabinets and give a lot of light.

My husband installed the undercabinet lights we bought at Costco and they are great. If you are looking for inside a cabinet, for example, on a corner cabinet, I use the battery operated led touch lights.
Sonja, Track lighting is nice you can direct the light where you want it. Check Home Depot or Lowe's in the lighting department. Aloha
If you want under cabinet lighting, you could use puck lights! They tap on and off or you can find remote controlled ones. They are battered operated so no electric work required :)
