How and which company offers the best quality products, that do not bleed and offer a large variety, to stencil ceiling fan blades? I have four fans with six blades each. Thanks

  • Bleeding depends on how well the stencil is attached to the surface you are painting. They sell stencil adhesive go help you out. I would use a flexible plastic stencil (which encompasses most of the stencils produced today) and practice technique on scrap paper first. There are many tutorials on You Tube.

Naomi is right. Bleeding happens when you use too much paint. Your brush or roller should be practically dry when you stencil. Also, check your stencil occasionally to make sure there is no paint on the back of the stencil.

This is great information on the how, but now how about the who? I am more interested in the 'where to purchase' than how to apply. The requirement to use this site inquiry was to open your question with the word, "HOW".

You can purchase stencils in many places. Hobby Lobby, Michaels, JoAnn's. Also just type in 'stencils' in your web browser and you will pull up tons of places. Etsy also has stencils.
