How to use flower containers from summer use to something for winter?
I have larger wash bin type containers ,they have flowers ect for summer. Any ideas for winter. I love them they are rustic looking.

I put cut pine branches in some of my decorations. You can do that and add some sparkling floral picks, and a bow.
Outside? What zone are you in? Plant hardy seasonal things like ornamental kale that come in a variety of colors. Mums are always pretty.

Go down to garden centre and buy some evergreen plants in various colours and add a few silk flowers to add interest.
What about some bare branches (or painted white?) set in some white gravel, and add some white lights? For holidays, you could stick some red poinsettias in there too. oooh, you could also add dollar store sparkly snowflakes or icicles on the branches....
