Just use warm water with a bit of baking soda and dish liquid. Be sure not to leave a lot of water behind or you will get streaking..

Laminate flooring is pretty easy care. The important thing is to not allow water to sit on it. My company uses a mild liquid Castile soap (about two tablespoons per 32 ounces of water) and 15-20 drops of essential oils (for scent and disinfectant properties, thyme, tea tree, citrus, cinnamon, peppermint and eucalyptus are some of the best for this) mixed in a spray bottle. Then use a microfiber mop not a sponge mop. Just spray an area and mop. It dries very quickly and does a good job. Every 4-6 cleanings we do the floor on our hands and knees to be sure we get under cabinets and around the baseboards. Your floors will be clean and your house will smell delicious.

  • What ideas do you need? Use Bona products for laminate floors or whatever the manufacturer of your floor recommends.

    Hi Patrica Gannon,

I'm new here. I would like to share my ideas on cleaning laminating floor. It will be good if you clean your laminate floor using a terry cloth mop. For the best results, spray cleaner directly onto the bottom of the mop cover. Also it will be good if you use floor protectors on furniture to reduce indentation.

This is just a piece of information. Hope it will be useful. Thank you.
