How to paint brick on fireplace inside the house?
If I paint the brick on our fireplace inside our house, do I have to seal it to maintain the paint?

Just prime and paint unless it is dropping a lot of sand from the morter.
We have a brick fireplace that we painted about a year ago. We primed it first then applied 2 coats of paint. We didn't use any sealer and it's holding up great!
