I'm not sure about the scratches. I used a little dab of acrylic paint on my vinyl floor to cover scratches. When walking, you couldn't tell I painted it.

For the shine, I like LA Awesome's spray and mop. Be careful because it can get really slick on some floors. My cats were slipping and sliding in the foyer, but they were find in the kitchen after I used it.

Most laminate flooring is not really shiny.....I clean mine with vinegar/water solution and then with a dry towel, I wipe it dry....has sort of a matte shine, like it did when new.

Bob Hi, Wash the floor with Murphy's Oil Soap, it's just for wood. Follow the instructions on the back of the bottle. You can find this in the isle with other floor cleaners. Aloha.

  • Bona for laminate floors. Follow manufacturers recommendations. Water is the enemy of laminate flooring.

I love Zep hardwood and laminate cleaner. Home Depot carries. I have tried tons of cleaners but this does the trick with a beautiful bit of shine, no haze. It comes in a gallon bottle that you dilute.

I use Bona for wood floors on all of mine. The guy who put in the floors 26 years ago said to use this or plain water. Not to use any oil soaps on them because it builds up. Also never get them very wet use a damp rag and dry with a soft cloth as you do each section.

My floors still look like they did when he put them in.

My wooden floors were a hot mess and really need to be sanded and refinished but for now I used a product called Quick Shine Floor Polish and it worked amazingly. My floors look so nice now. You just squirt it on and spread with a mop. You can find it here https://amzn.to/2Cf3IAy
