You can hook up the expandable hose to the water tap on the house, and the powere washer. The tap on the house may need to be adjusted to supply the right amount for the hose & sprayer. Periodically I have to take my sprayer over to my elderly aunts place and remove green gook from her wooden decks.

Hi Sjb: I would say no, unless you have a heavy duty hose, as the pressure coming through the hose and then being compromised at the end of the power washer would cause the hose to burst. I would get a hose with a good rating. Here is a site I found that should help you out:

Not a problem. Sorry you haven't been getting replies. Here is a site I found for you that seems pretty good. The guy is talking about his vinyl siding, but also his garage door, which would be metal. Take a listen to him and then look on the right side and see if there are any sites there that can help you out. I'm not sure it's the power as much as the product that will clean your moss/mold.

Any more questions? Please let me know. Good luck with this:)

My hubby tried using that and it didn't work. He said something about the connector not being the right size so he had to use his big hose for his power washer. And I agree with Betsy that the pressure could cause the expandable hose to burst. I've had a few to burst just by pulling them constantly.

Hey Sjb: It would have been nice if I had put in the site! I just did, but here it is again. Sorry for not doing it before:(
