Cleaning tile and painting furniture

Question

I wondered if anyone had any tried and true cleaning methods for scrubbing tile floors and grout? I have heard of 20 Mule team and water and just trying to figure out the best way to do this job with a scrub brush..thanks
Also, any suggestions of how to paint and refresh a dark colored pine cupboard?

For the tile and grout floors - hydrogen peroxide and baking soda mixed into a paste is reallly good. For everyday mopping without leaving residue or streaks - good old cheap vinegar and water! About a cup to a gallon of water.
For the pine cupboard, I'm not an expert, but have done it. If it has a slick surface, you'll need to prep it by sanding it down with a fine grit so the paint will stick properly. If not, it will peel in no time. If you just want to refresh it and bring back it's original luster, I recommend Scott's Liquid Gold. Hope this helps! Good luck!
