Hi Kerry, if you have general diy know-how it won't be very difficult for you. Here's a youtube video with full instructions about the tools needed and how to install. There are other videos out there. I'd suggest watching a few in addition to this as you may pick up some tips from each so as you run into any difficulty you'll know what to do. It’s not hard but the cuts are hard around corners trim raitiators
I am 73 female so found it easier to hire handyman to install my vinyl plank flooring. One important installation tip: Lay strips on the floor in the opposite way of walking e.g. horizontally across room from front door or hall. This prevents strips from sliding under pressure of walking.
I know my daughter did it herself in her kitchen. It wasn't too hard but you will need a saw or blade to cut the pieces.
