I have a sunroom on the home we purchased a year ago and we are going to convert it to a year round room. It is too hot to use in the summer and too cold to use in the winter. so we used it a few times in the spring and fall when the temperature in the room was perfect.
Depends on how you want to use the room. A sunroom will be cool in the winter even with heat. If you want a room to use year round (I am talking from a mid west point) a room addition may be better. If you live in a warmer climate, a sun room may be the way you want to go. Look at all options and then make up your mind. Good luck
