How good is pocket coil mattress?

Since the death of my husband, I was very lonely in my home. So my daughter suggested to me that she will tell my granddaughter to move into my home, so I can get some company. So she and her pet billy move into my house. So we used to sleep in my bedroom itself., her pet billy used to sleep alongside. So he is moving around the mattress all the time it does gives me a lot of disturbance me to go to sleep. So I decided to change the mattress, so after some discussion with my granddaughter, she suggested me to go for a pocket coil mattress. As I am not much aware of it what do you people recommend? I heard it does makes you comfortable is it worth paying that much money for it? Does it last much as well?

There used to be a commercial where someone was walking or bouncing on one side of the bed and the other person was undisturbed. I can't remember the name of that mattress, hopefully other Hometalkers can toss in their suggestions.
For me, the only way to decide on a mattress is to go shop for it and spend a lot of time laying on various mattresses. I just can't fathom purchasing on line or off a shopping site - just doesn't make sense to me.
And, I have 3 dogs and 6 cats in bed with me plus any visiting pets and I have a queen size bed. They sleep, I don't. I am always trying not to disturb them!
What I would do is make sure the store has a decent return policy just in case you do not care for it. Read the fine print and make sure there are no fees for returning or exchanging.
Why not simply get the pet its own bed with cedar chips, etc., and reduce any potential for introduction of fleas, etc. into your bed?
