Sometimes leftover pieces from the workshop just work!

While looking through my pile of scrap wood I ran across a few pieces of old trim that were perfect for this project. I tried putting them together in different ways until I was happy with the arrangement.
I cut the top triangular piece and created a base with another scrap of wood, then added a third trim piece to the front. I attached all of these pieces with wood glue and nails.

I painted the whole frame with grey Miss Mustard Seed Milk Paint which gave it this cohesive look. Miss Mustard Seed Paint chips as it dries and made this piece look old. I then added a  small clip to the center which I found on Amazon.
On the clip I put a very old photo of my grandmother and her sister which is the perfect photo to hang on this vintage looking frame.
Every single scrap piece I found just worked together to create this unique chippy photo frame.

Add Scrabble and Anagram vintage tiles too to create a custom look!
