I agree with the suggestions above. Paint is a beautiful and cheap way to give new life to an old piece of furniture. Tape the glasses with painters tape and even if some paint gets on your glass, you can scrape it off with a putty knife later. Check out a quick tutorial on how I refinished this little cabinet.
