How do I make a rain garden?
I have a corner of my property that almost always has standing water, and is at least soggy. I'd like to make a garden back there that will absorb some of that water. Weeping willows are out because of intersecting property lines and electrical wires. Any ideas?

How do I downsize a garden?
I have a large flower garden that I can no longer keep up with. I want to reduce its size and grow grass but I can't get rid of the perennials.
Depending on where you live, planting a willow tree out there will suck up LOTS of water!
Willow tree isn't an option because of the property lines and the electrical wires.
Also I live in south central Pennsylvania, the Harrisburg area.
