How can I paint acast iron tub??

I have a cast iron tub, and wondering if I can paint it/what type of paint? I really don't want to remove it as it is heavy, and nothing wrong except for color (pink)

Rustoleum makes a great 'tub and tile' paint, but the prep work is critical to a good result; you might want to get it professionally resurfaced ... check the yellow pages or google for 'Tub Restoration' in your area ...
Definitely have a professional refinish your tub. Paint will not adhere well to a surface that gets wet and you will not be happy with the result after two years. Professionals thoroughly clean and etch the surface, then spray on several coats of ceramic which will last many many years. They can make it any color you wish, and the color will be even and beautiful.
