Seasonal wreaths are a great way to display some decor both inside and outside your house and also a great handmade holiday gift idea. Unfortunately, they are also pretty expensive if you buy them from the store. The good news? They are super fast and easy to make! This wreath was inspired by some pinecones my mom and I collected while camping over the summer. They were the perfect thing to make this DIY Pinecone Winter Wreath for almost no money at all. Read on to see how I did it!
When I stay put in one place for a while, I get antsy and start to change things up with my decor! This time, it's my headboard that got a makeover to give my bedroom the boutique hotel look and feel.
I can’t even begin to tell you how awesome the dollar store is! If you know your way around the dollar store then you can create pretty much anything! You can take something so cheap looking and turn it into an amazing piece for your home. Take this jewelry stand for instance. I made this jewelry stand yesterday on beautiful, sunny afternoon. It was so nice out that I just had to be out in the sun, so I thought I would bring my project outside. This is a super easy DIY, and it cost me under $10 to make, so you can’t beat that!! Let’s dig right in and get started!
Put an empty wall to work as a jewelry storage station! After moving to a new home with a serious lack of storage space, I came up with this solution for keeping my jewelry organized. With just a few supplies and an empty patch of wall in my closet, I created this easy DIY jewelry storage board!
Hi there Hometalk Friends! I'm in the middle of my March Madness, 31 Thrifty Makeovers in 31 Days Series on my blog and I thought I would pop over here and share one of my favorites with ya'll! I found these gorgeous aqua dishes at the thrift store and I just had to bring them home with me:
Winter time is the time where you're slathering on lotion and washing your hands more frequently to prevent the flu, but one thing I notice that starts to happen is that my rings start getting gunked up with soap scum and excess lotion build up. Rather than stop by my jeweler every other week, I created my own DIY Jewelry Cleaner to help do the job...with one unexpected twist at the end using my FAVORITE tool to completely sanitize my ring and make it 99% germ free!
Hey there creative people! Who doesn't love a good yard sale overflowing with old useless treasures? I know I sure do! A couple of weeks ago I went to a local neighborhood yard sale where I found a wooden spice rack for a dollar. I thought to myself that I could definitely give it a new life. Normally I would paint something like this, but I wanted to do something different this time around. My creative wheels in my head started to turn and I remembered that I had a beautiful vintage themed floral fabric. I thought with some perforated lace like fabric and some cup hooks that it could become a jewelry organizer.

Brushed by Brandy said this piece was intimidating as all heck. It was huge and boldly styled, those claw feet make a statement on their own. When I picked this up, my husband wasn't sure what I was thinking! I just look for things that are different, styles I haven’t done before, and well made. This thrift store find met those criteria, so I brought the set home.
I’m not sure about you but I have always been intimidated about wallpaper. I consider myself an avid remodeler been doing this since the 80s. So I was not sure if it was hard to do it was just scary to lineup the textures and such. So when my daughter asked me to help her with her-so teeny little bathroom of course I agreed but I was still a little intimidated.
