I was looking for a simple, inexpensive Halloween craft. Since I have a lot of pictures of our pets in Halloween costumes (who doesn't!) I thought that it would be fun to make picture frames. These spooky eyeball picture frames are super simple to make and perfect for Halloween!
Start with any frame with a flat front. I got very inexpensive wooden frames from the craft store. Paint them black. Spooky already!
Let the paint dry. You might need a few coats, just use your judgment.
I used acrylic craft paint + a foam brush but you could also use spray paint if you prefer.
Start gluing on eyeballs! I got a variety pack of eyeballs with different sizes. Start with the largest ones, spacing them out around the frame. I used tacky glue to attach them but elmers glue or hot glue would also work.
Keep adding eyeballs until the frame is covered. Save the tiny ones for last! How spooky!
How cute are these frames? Perfect for Halloween costume photos! See more details (and lots more Halloween projects!) at my blog Charleston Crafted.
