Can you grow a Mandeville from the seeds they produce from the blooms?

I know you asked if someone has tried it, but since you haven't had an answer, I'll throw in my two cents worth! Ive never tried it, but I think being tropical, you'd want to start the seeds indoors in a warm bright room. I don't think they'd grow if planted straight into the ground. I know you can take seeds, but if you already have a plant, youd' be time ahead if you just take a snipping of the vine and use that to start a new plant. But I think it would need to be done indoors and not planted outside until it's warm.
