Industrial Dining Room Reveal

I am so glad to finally share my industrial inspired dining room with you! I cannot tell you how much my husband and I love this room but once you see it all maybe you will understand why it has become our favorite room in the house.
Check out the blog and let me show you where we have come from in two short years ... it should make you love the room even more (unless of course you love mauve carpet and mauve cornices)!
The biggest change in the room is the faux brick wall. We used brick paneling, painted the mortar, dry brushed it white, and added joint compound to give the room its aged, industrial feel.
We installed industrial style lights which we swagged to the ends of the table with plumbing pipe. And to carry the industrial theme out further we used metal shelving units typically used in a garage.
Check out these old glass insulators we found at my husband's family farm.
We had a farmhouse table custom made and framed it with retro aluminum chairs.

I can't get through to your site - says it is forbidden. Any suggestions? I love your wall!

I have a set of very very damaged French doors that went out side & we are renting so I used the brick panels to cover doors as the rest of room is brick & 166 year old oak. It will keep the cold out. I like the white. Tried to darken the red but I couldn't get it to work. Will try again next summer.
