What is the best caulking to use around my bathtub and other areas?

I want to use something that is leak proof and decide what matches my bathroom the best.

    Tubs and showers require a special caulk that contains mold and mildew prevention additives. The tubes are usually labeled “for kitchen and bath use.” Most are 100 percent silicone, but you can also find some latex versions. Latex caulk is easier to tool and cleans up with soap and water.

    There are a couple of waterproof bathroom tub caulk and you’d want to evaluate.

    Some are water clean up and some are not, some are paintable and most are not and most of them require very good ventilation and a mask. Gloves too.

    Im getting ready to use one of these products on my shower and I’ll let you know how it goes.
