  • looks like a type of lilac? do they have a scent?

  • no smell. I have lilacs and this is different. Someone in the facebook group suggest Abelia and I believe that is what it is. Thanks Elizabeth!

    Thank you Carol Speake and your Facebook group. I just looked up Abelia and that is exactly what it is. Now I can get some in the Spring for my yard. YAY!

    That is a rose abelia. There are different types, compact and ones that are larger bushes. The flowers have a wonderful scent!

      This was answered by another Hometalker, Mahala Waldner. The

      plant’s name is Rose Abelia.
