How do I replace vinyl plank flooring w/tape strips?

I have plank vinyl flooring that has tape strips. I need to make some corrections. Has anyone ever replaced the planks and have the flooring still look nice? I’m afraid if I lift the planks it will not look right afterwards. If you have replaced them, could you please tell me how you did it?

Thanks,

Donella

Can you talk to where you bought them or call manufacturer. Never heard the ones with tape srips

Hi Kelli, I purchased them from Home Depot. They are Traffic Masters Resilient Plank Vinyl Flooring. I can definitely follow up with the manufacturer. I just wanted to see if anyone has actually replaced them. Because they are glue strips, I wasn’t sure if they would adhere and look decent. If I would have waited 3 months they came out with a different style where the planks click together. Oh well. Thank you 😊
