What flowers do well in the fall

What, other than mums, grow well in the SC low country? A good many plants that we planted might do okay for a little while, but love fall colors. Any suggestions? We also have lantana in some areas

try some annuals like coleus or kale that both have great foliage colors

Have you tried pansies? They'll bloom all winter long for you and if they get covered by snow, they'll be even more brilliant when it melts!
