When we purchased our home the entrance front porch floor was painted in a burgundy gloss paint, it was peeling, it was ugly and I was done looking at it!
After looking at all types of fromt porch designs online for months, I measured the area and headed out to Ikea
I purchased 10 boxes of wooden outdoor floors to change the look of my front porch
These are the instructions that came with the floors as they require assembly. They have a hook on one side to attach each tile to the other just like a puzzle.
We installed most of it in a morning and added the final touches in the afternoon
The floors come without a border or anything to secure them on to the floor where you are installing them. We purchased metal floor or carpet trimmings and screws at home depot
This is the outcome of an easy job
I was very pleased with the new look of my floor
I did not have enough pieces to finish the border of the steps, therefore, I ended up buying a piece of wood at home depot and cutting it to fit on the steps. I then stained it in the same color as the floors
This is the piece I cut and stained
This is the finished product!!
This is a before and after picture.
