Plant in at least partial to half sunny 😎 spot in your yard. Water well afterwards and Leave them Alone. They can easily die due to over-tending. I treat them like an aloe plant and they do Great! Good Luck!

Todays mums that you see everywhere are not sturdy plants and require a lot of babying. They are forced to bloom at this time in a plant nursery and the pretty dome shape is not natural. They are grown to sell, not for longevity. Different areas of the country need different procedures to overwinter plants. What growing zone are you in?

To find your growing zone, search by putting in the words growing zone and your zip code.

Keep soil moist, remove dead blooms, plant in ground before the first frost. I have very good luck and you CAN buy the less expensive ones, I do. My mums are beautiful.
