Hi Linda. Head to your local garden store and ask for milky spore or nematodes. These are not fast-acting, though. If you want something quick, ask for a chemical. Chemicals usually are not safe for pets or children.
Use a grub control product available at lawn and garden stores or hardware stores.

I keep a small box of instant mashed potatoes on hand and sprinkle a few spoonfuls where i think they travel. I do this at night since most are nocturnal. After they eat, the flakes expand in the stomach and well they die.
NOTE: If you have pets keep these flakes out of their reach.
