There is a no scrub product "wet and forget shower" (sold at Lowe's - watch the video on qvc) that you spray after your shower and leave. It is recommended once a week. You can't use if you have a marble tub but other than that it's fine. I used it twice a week for the first 3 weeks, after that just weekly and my shower and doors look brand new.

If it's built up badly you can cut a grapefruit in half and scrub with coarse sea salt or kosher salt. It will cut through the scum.

Use a squeegee or supercloth (link below) to get it streak free.

Clean Shower does NOT require any scrubbing or washing down. Once a week or when needed, might have to clean around where the walls meet the floor.

Soapscum Remover available at Home Depot works good on my rentals, when I have to remove built up that can be a few years old.

If its real thick I spray it on, let it sit a while then use very fine steel wool to massage this layer off tub and tile walls. If its just a few weeks old, spay, sponge, rinse
