Remember back in October, when I asked you guys your tips for removing linoleum in our china cabinet. I know it was a while back so you probably don't BUT I had a lot of people telling me I shouldn't do it. So I didn't and then.... Well, I found out only recently that Target (one of my favorite stores) started carrying adhesive wallpaper. Well, I went up to my local Target and bought some. I picked my wedding anniversary for this little project.
This was definatley a two person job and took longer than I expected.... I only thought it would take us an hour tops!

Here are my tips for hanging the adhesive wallpaper.
Prep your surface. See how excited I was to get this project going?!? You can see that linoleum and a blue surface too....
You first want to cut all the pieces of your wallpaper. We used an exacto knife, a pad and a plastic ruler for fabric. This has a big repeat pattern so we made sure to line each piece up. If you want something a little more easy, then I recommend a solid paper.

Some more tips!

- Make sure you have enough paper when you start. I had to get a second roll.

- Plan to have enough time.

- Start at the top, by peeling some of the backing off and attach, then slowly removing the backing and press down. Gravity will help you.
It took us a while to hang but has really transformed the room for very little cost. I now have extra paper that I can use inside drawers.
