How to get rid of animial feces odor and help keep it under control?

We have two dogs...both under a year old, they like using the hallway as their bathroom, even after being outside.
I realize this is a training issue, but keeping the area clean and the house not smelling like a Jenner is important to me.

When we have an occasional accident we've used the enzyme eating products to spray the surface after we've cleaned it up with paper towels .
Have you considered crating the dogs when you are gone or at night since that seems to be when dogs do this? Or a doggy door so they can go out on their own?
