Bedroom/sewing room
Hometalkers...posts some pics of of your bedroom slash sewing room. I am at a loss as to how to incorporate the two :-) I will post my bedroom later.
What needs doing? A bedroom is pretty straightforward. Paint walls and trim, add crown molding if there is none. Possibly change flooring if desired. Choose a new bedspread, comforter or quilt, new curtains. Maybe add area rug. Possibly reposition furniture.
What do you want to do?
What are you working with? Size, condition, any special features, how many windows currently, carpeted?
Go through magazines, catalogs, websites, and get an idea of the look you want to have in your bedroom and then make a plan. Paint will go far in changing the look of your room, but it is not really a "remodel". Are you planning to remove a wall to enlarge?
Janice is right that 'redecorating' is not the same as 'remodelling'. Remodelling involves changes to the structure and supportive building materials of the home; redecorating is cosmetic.
