Someone asked a question about when to water succulents so I looked it up on the web and found a good site. But now I can't find the question! So whoever asked it, I hope you will take a look at this article. I found it very interesting and learned a lot myself.

p.s. If anyone can tell me the best way to paste websites under questions, please let me know. I have tried several times to do this but can't find the original questions. Duh!

An additional note, I have had great success spritzing my succulents with Roberta's Spray & Flourish Micronutrient once a week.

    Hi Sally,

I've had the same problem occasionally if my Hometalk page blanks out and I have to refresh it. What I do to try to prevent losing Hometalk is to open a new tab on my computer to look for an answer, copy that URL then click back to Hometalk and paste it in as part of my answer - just like Naomie does on her tablet. You can also do this on a phone by opening a new page to search, copying the URL then going back to Hometalk to paste in the answer. Every time you completely leave the question page, it will refresh. New questions come on and older questions run off. Sometimes they come back later but sometimes they don't. Also, if you make sure there is a space after the URL that you've posted, it will become live so all the other person has to do is click on it. I hope this helps you when you're trying to find answers.

      You're welcome Sally!

SallyL Linda provided excellent advice to those of us using a desktop or most laptop computers, but it really does depend upon the type of product you are using.

Thank you Janice! Yes, your comment is very true. The issue is that we don't know what type product the person asking the question is using. I use a desktop or laptop, I know others use a phone or tablet. I can check my phone to see how to help sometimes but I'm sure not all phones are alike. Mine is an Android. Does the iPhone work the same way? I don't have one so I don't know. Then there are the tablets. Mine "died" and I haven't replaced it - yet. With access to a two year old laptop, a much older desktop and another older laptop that still works with Win 7, plus a phone. Do I really need a tablet? That's the question. A lot of people don't realize that those of us who help with questions are regular Hometalk members and may not have the same equipment as the person asking the question. We all try our best, that's all we can do. :)

Thank you, one and all, for your advice. Sounds a bit too techie for me to handle, but I shall refer back to your posts when the time comes.
