How can we use our destroyed 5 gallon water bottles ?

We have plenty of 5 gal water bottles which have cracks and we wish to use it either for planting(?) or whatever you can suggest in our porch/veranda.

If you have a garden, you could also use them to cover tender plants in the spring and fall. You could easily make them into planters for flowers, paint them with a paint for plastic to make them look really great. They may make a good terrarium for succulents for a display on your porch.
