Furniture scratch marking pens can be used on small area where the top surface has chipped. Buckling can have 2 causes: water or not enough room at the edges for the flooring to move. The amount of buckling and peeling will determine if maybe you should rip it out and replace it.

Sounds like a new floor is needed. The buckling is a trip hazard

  • It’s really tough to fix a damaged piece of laminate flooring unfortunately. You’ll likely have to replace the piece.

No fix. Replace the damaged boards. Another reason I dislike laminate flooring. A lot of Hometalkers have all kinds of problems with it.

Laminate flooring is a rip off, all you can do is replace, think vinyl wood flooring, very popular now

All you can do now is buy an area rug

I would replace the damaged laminate planks. That is all you can really do. Once damaged by water, it is done..
