what do you mean by "fix" is the upholstery sad or is the foot rest falling off?
What is the problem with the footrest? Need more information.
You'll have to turn the chair upside down and look underneath. There should be a spring and bolt on both sides of the footrest. Look for a similar bolt and spring. This way you know how everything hooks up. You can buy replacement bolt at the hardware store or homecenter.
