Hi. If there is an odor in the dishwasher, try cleaning where to door is hinged and all along the bottom of the door. Some machines have a lip at the bottom of the door and this can collect gunk. Then put a cup of listerine or any other mouthwash in the bottom and run a cycle. If you still have the smell, you may need to take the disposal basket apart. This is a job for the plumber. Good luck.
Clear out the dishwasher, remove any food particles. Put a cup of white vinegar in the upper rack and run a hot wash cycle. Sprinkle a cup of baking soda across the bottom and run a short hot wash cycle. That should do it.
Run some white vinegar thru it?
If you have any removable traps in the bottom, take them out and clean them thoroughly then run the machine with a glass filled with vinegar on the top rack.
There is also a cleaner you can buy in the store if the other ideas don't work.
