It can be quite windy there. How do I keep it from blowing away? It’s going to be in my canvas camping chair. Thank you for any help! Happy Halloween 🎃!!!

  • You might be able to attach it using fishing twine... it's quite strong, but clear and not very noticeable. Good luck, and happy halloween!

Faith's idea of fishing twine, and you could sit a big, fat pumpkin on his lap.

I like Faith's suggestion of the fishing twine you might want to attach that to tent stakes. The ones the twist into the ground, hope that helps and Happy Halloween

You can use wire to tie it to the chair so it doesn't blow away!

Dollar Tree has floral wire that is virtually undetectable and rather strong. Secure to the chair and secure the chair as well.

Hi Betty. I'm Cindy. If you decide to use fishing line, there's a trick to keep your knots from coming undone. Once you make a knot and cut both ends short, you can place the knot quickly into a fire from a lighter. The fire will melt the line into a tiny clump. And the knot will not be able to come undone. A lot of jewelry is made with fishing line. This is a trick used by people like me who make costume jewelry. Hope this helps you. Good luck and Happy Halloween.
