I saw a project on here once where the owner wanted privacy and airflow at their a patio sliding door. They used slats of wood and a sliding barn door hardware. To make a privacy slat door so they could keep door open for airflow. But I can't find the post. Has anyone seen this?

It may have been archived. The box that says find your next project ...type in a few key words see what comes up.

Have you thought about vertical blinds? They will allow the air to flow through them when you have them open for the screen and air flow

Determine how you would affix the sliding hardware to your walls because it must not only take the weight of the door(s) it has to move it/them back and forth frequently - buy quality and you'll be happier over the long term. You can buy one large piece/door/openwork panel if you have the wall space next to the sliders where it can go or you can buy new or used shutters or used bi-fold doors to refinish - the smaller widths can stack up behind each other and therefore use less wall space when set aside.

Yeah shutters won't work. I'm not looking for ideas. I'm looking for a specific project that was listed on this site
