Tiles are 20 plus years old can not afford to replace but would love to clean grouting and tiles any ideas please.
A good home remedy is hot water, a little bit of Dawn, baking soda and fresh squeezed lemons> Works like a charm for me!
Patricia, have a look at a few of these sites. People have different ideas on how to clean and one of them may just be what works for you!
I've used Tilex in the past. After clean be sure to seal the clean floor.
You can use grout paint as well.
I've used it and looks brand new.
I Found mine on line.
I have used grout paint that you can get at Home Depot. You can go on you tube and look at some helpful videos. It takes some time but it is worth it
Use Peroxide and Baking soda. Make a loose paste and apply it to the entire floor. Let it sit for about 30 minutes then scrub with a brush. Rinse well. I have white tile and grout and it works every time for me!!!!
Use a toilet bowl cleaner with bleach. Apply the toilet bowl cleaner directly to grout. Allow to sit for 30 mins. Then take a stiff bristled scrub brush along with bucket of water to grout. Dip brush in water, shake off excess and SCRUB grout. Mop floors to remove all cleaner. Best grout cleaner I have ever come across
Thank you everyone for your ideas
