How can I update or clean up these old bathroom cabinets?

My girls have a frog bathroom. Everything is great but these cabinets😣. We bought some fun drawer pulls for all the cabinets. I have to do something about these beat up enamel cabinets.
Perhaps paint the main part of the cabinets a "frog green" and pull one of the colors from the frog curtain, or more, and paint the doors. Perhaps using another color in the insects or the "frog green". Your wall color is fairly neutral, so it should look ok, or perhaps paint it with a real pale green in the same family as the "frog green". I am sure your girls would love to help plan the colors with you, that way they will be happy with the choices! Have fun!

Maybe after painting it green, maybey paint some lily pads, cattails n then find some small frog, flies (stickers, nick-nacks) n hot glue them to make a scene!!?

pick a base color from the other decorations ... and one that works with the wall color ... appears 'pink' ... Green is good with pink!

Pain them white and this way if you ever want to go with another look other than frogs, you’ll be ready.

Thank you all so much. The girls are excited to get more decor for there bathroom. I love the feedback. We have decided no gel stain,no chalk paint. As much as I want to paint cabinets frog green my husband agrees the white will be best. My daughter may be 10 soon but will be a teenager before we know it.What teenager is going to what a ridiculous frog bathroom🤣. We bought some cool flat canvas panels to paint frogs on. I have framed photos of frogs she has caught and released. Now I have my work cut out for me.😊
