How do you use acorns for crafts?

I have a lot of acorns, just wondering how to use them for easy arts and crafts.

Hi, I made xmas ornaments. Acorn for the head and hat w/sm pompom, walnut for the body, bumpy pipe cleaner for the arms wrapped around neck, tooth picks for ski poles w/crystal on the end, popcicle stick cut to point on one end for ski's, ribbon for a scarf, wiggly eyes. Great ornament for school class.

Kin Hello,. They can be glued together in a circle, then put in a bowl with fall flowers or leaves. Buy a styrafoam circle, at a craft store. Then glue them on to make a wreath. Aloha!

If you're planning on using acorns in your home decor, it's a good idea to wash your collected acorns and bake them to kill their insect residents. Allow your acorns to cool on a wire rack for an hour before attempting to use them.
