First I would take the better, interesting pieces to a Very Trusted antique jewelry dealer and have them looked at. Costume jewelry is very collectible and can be rather valuable. You’d be amazed. Make sure they’re costume; look for markings, particularly on the clasps.
Or take good photos and email them to a couple of dealers on-line. Much like any other situation, you should get three opinions.
That being done, I’d go to Pinterest. Try “recycled costume jewelry”. I know I’ve purchased gorgeous framed mirrors, the framing covered in artfully-placed costume jewelry.
Good luck and have fun with this.
Many many years ago at a holiday church bazaar ladies made christmas trees on velvet and framed them. My mom and I made several with our old stuff as well as snowflakes. Here are a bunch of fun ideas for you!

Sell it on Ebay. Use the money for more important projects.

I agree with many of the others who replied. You may have a goldmine of vintage jewelry you could sell for profit. I found one pin of my mother's by Weis that was worth about $75.00. Be careful before you take it apart or give away. Look for a manufacturer's name somewhere on the pieces.
I once saw a lamp a lady had made w/all of her recycled jewelry - leftovers, one of a kind, she collected enough for a whole lamp!
