I bought a 97 camper trailer to live in. Under the bed is unusable space. I want to use this space. Can you please give me some ideas? Also I want to paint the walls with happy colors lol. Can you give me some ideas on that?

  • Turn it into a storage bench seat where the seat lifts up on a hinge. Great place to store out of season clothes, blankets, etc.

Go to a paint store and pick up a bunch of the color swatches and tape them to your walls. Then start taking them down one by one until you are left with 3 or 4 colors. Then buy samples and put them up. When you find the ones you love, go back and buy a few quarts.

To pick colors start wth a colorful pattern. Get a fun bedspread with colors you like, pick put one for the walls. Under the bed add under the bed storage bins.

There are lots of videos on YouTube on under-bed storage, I think the drawers on slides or casters would be the most usable. I plan on helping a client change his double twin beds into a full bed with a giant sliding drawer underneath. We also plan to divide the platform plywood into two pieces on hinges and gas struts to be able to access the existing cabinet over the wheel well.

Hello Great Falls. I'm Cindy. I've been to Great Falls and I loved it. Just beautiful. There's a lot of space above and under your trailer. See-thru bins will keep contents clean and dry. Write the contents on a label and place it on the inside of the bin. I hope these comments help you. Best wishes, Great Falls.

Most RV beds don't have enough space around them for deep drawers...can't open them up without hitting a wall. To best utilize all that space, You may want to explore a lifting platform with hydraulic henges. This is a very common solution for RV storage. Are you sure this option isn't already in place? Visit a dealership so you can see how they work.

We have a 43 ft. fifth wheel trailer that my son just purchased. It has a king sized bed in the back, it has a hydraulic lift on it and it is real handy. You can fit a lot of things under their. Ours even has the charging station for the Dyson cordless vacuum that came with the trailer. I would get under bed boxes to store clothes or linens or whatever under the bed. If there is enough room, you could possibly stack two. If you use the bags that you suck down with a vacuum, you can store a lot under the bed. I hope this helps you some Pauline! I am lucky, our trailer has a good bit of storage room, even though I need a three step ladder to access a lot of it. Without the stackable washer and dryer in the bathroom, I even have a huge cabinet/closet to use.
