The month of October has arrived, and with it, we bring awareness to breast Cancer. Because of this, and in honor of all the people afflicted with this terrible disease, I am sharing today’s tutorial.

We will be making a wreath with a PINK RIBBON BREAST CANCER AWARENESS motive. The famous pink ribbon was created by Evelyn Lauder, who formed part of Estee Lauder’s great family. Evelyn suffered from ovarian cancer and died at the age of 75. It was she who compelled the US Congress to declare October as the Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Start painting the ribbon frame

We will need 48 pom poms for this project. I like using Clover’s Pom Pom maker. It is a simple to use tool which will save you a ton of time.

Once you have all of the pom poms, you will start gluing them to the frame making sure they are close to each other as to cover the whole frame. No part of the frame should show between pom poms. Continue until the whole frame is covered.

Once you have attached them to the frame, you will then flip the frame and add some glue between pom poms to better affix them.

Add a ribbon or ornament as an added touch. (optional)
